Welcome to Rolling Acres Edison Jr. Academy
 Welcome to Rolling Acres Edison Junior Academy website. Rolling Acres Edison Junior Academy is one of four schools in Peoria using the Edison Schools Design. The Edison Schools Design exposes students to a full comprehensive curriculum, based on best teaching practices. The core subject areas include a ninety-minute block in reading/language arts, history, science, and social studies. Spanish is included in the daily curriculum for students in grades 6-8. Students also have the opportunity to participate in physical education, art, music appreciation, chorus, math enrichment, band, orchestra, and technology classes. We pride ourselves at Rolling Acres Edison Junior Academy as being a community of learners, where failure is not an option. As you view our site, you will find that academic achievement and success for all students are very important elements of our school culture. As a team, in concert with our parents and students, many unreachable feats have been obtained. We understand we are still evolving as a professional learning community, yet our accomplishments and our focus on the “main thing” is ever present. Accelerated Reader List Updated
Additions have been made to our Accelerated Reader quiz list. It is posted under the "students" tab. You can check to see if we have the test for a book you own or have checked out from the public library.

Homework Help Online
The Peoria Public Library is providing access to free online homework tutoring. This servce requires that the student has a library card. The service is available 7 days per week from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Please click on the link under the "students" tab above to try it out. Next week RAEJA students will be provided packets with library card applications and further information.
